XFORM Crosscheck
The purpose of this crosscheck is to make sure that two records with differing Form of Item codes do not match.
Pre-processing
- This crosscheck uses the TMQ-Normalized version of the GMD.
Data extraction
- None
Normalization
- standard normalization is applied
In subversions 245 and beyond, Form codes 'o', 'q', and 's' are treated as equivalent values by this crosscheck. Whenever this behavior is applied, the occurrence will be logged in the 'long' report in the 'Crosscheck Options' statistics section.
We will add a crosscheck option to control this behavior in the next subversion.
Processing rules
- None
Post-processing
- If X245H and XFORM are the only crosschecks that fail, and X245H fails because one record has 245$h 'large print' and the other does not, and XFORM fails because one record is CIP and the other contains 'd' (large print), and the XLGPR crosscheck was run and both records contained large print attributes, then both X245H and XFORM are reset to Pass. This exception is logged in the 'Crosscheck Options' section of the report.
