SAVED REVIEWS
When you complete a MARC Review or MARC Global run and elect to 'Save this run for Later Re-use', all of the options that you configured for the run are gathered together and saved as a record in a database. We use the term 'review' to refer to this record, and we call this database your 'Saved Reviews'.
LOAD A SAVED REVIEW
This form displays the list of all of the reviews that you have saved. You can re-run a saved review by clicking on it and then pressing the Load button. The program will load the review that you selected into memory, and jump ahead to the Output screen, since you may want to make changes to the result filenames, if applicable.
You can sort the saved reviews on any column or field by clicking on the label at the top of the column. You can re-size any column, and you make the form bigger by grabbing the sizegrip in the bottom right corner with your mouse. However, you can edit the Saved Reviews from this form; use the Saved Review Editor in the Options to do this.
LOAD AN AUTO REVIEW
If you have purchased MARC Global, and created Autoreviews, select the Autoreviews tab at the top of the form, and a list of your Autoreviews will be displayed.
Select the Auto Review you wish to run from the list, then press the Load button.
The program remembers the last tab (Saved reviews or Autoreviews) that you clicked on, and always begins with that tab the next time you press 'Load'.
LOAD A REVIEW FROM THE SCRATCHPAD
MARC Report version 248 adds an option to MARC Review and MARC Global to automatically remember the last 20 reviews created, whether they or saved or not.
This 'scratchpad' option is enabled by default. When this option is enabled, the program will remember your last 20 reviewswhether you save them or not, and they will be available (only) on the 'Scratchpad' panel of the Saved Review loader.
This review scratchpad is completely independent from your saved reviews (both in the program and in the Windows file system).
NOTES
Scratch reviews cannot be edited or deleted.
Every review that is run to completion is added to the scratchpad, even if you save the review.
Deleting a review from the saved reviews form will not delete it from the scratchpad (if it is there).
Unlike a saved review, no output options are saved to the scratchpad. When a scratch review is loaded, the program skips to the Output options panel of the wizardjust like in a saved reviewbut instead loads your default output options (at which point you can change them as needed).
The columns displayed for scratch reviews differ somewhat from those for saved reviews. The following fields are not maintained for scratch reviews:
Review Id Review Group Review Name
