Undocumented Options in MARC Global

This article describes how to enable several undocumented and unsupported options in MARC Global. The reason these options are undocumented and unsupported is because they are currently under construction, and may not function as expected.

USE THESE OPTIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK

To enable the undocumented options you must edit the registry. Do not edit the Windows registry unless you are confident about doing so.

Microsoft has issued the following warning with respect to the Registry Editor: “Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to re-install Windows to correct them. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk.”

Make sure MARC Report is not running, then open the registry editor.

Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TMQ\MARC Global\Other Options

Click on the option named¹⁾ ShowExtraReviewOptions

Select 'Edit|Modify' from the registry editor menu

Change the data value from 'N' to 'Y' (without the quotes), then press OK

Exit the registry editor.
