New statistics added to Verify
Two new statistics were added to the Verify utility.
First, Verify will now count the number of records where the 000/09 in the leader is coded 'a' (UTF-8 encoding). This information (also available, but with greater detail, from the MARC Analysis utility) is useful when loading a file of records into a system.
Second, Verify will now list the number of records in the file found for each of the five MARC Formats. This is useful when processing files of mixed formats, such as bib and authority records, or bib and MFHD records. If the record contains an undecipherable code in 000/06, then it will be added to a sixth category called 'Undefined format'.
