+  - **IF** your **Manifestation search did not find a hit** (possible match), or if you found a hit but the Manifestation data that you found **is not a match**, and **is not a near match** either, then **search for Work data**, using the [[menu:entityindex|Entity Index]]
+    - **IF** your **Work search found a hit** (possible match) for the work characteristics of your resource, **check that it is a true match**
